Student Board Interest

Beginning in the 2024-2025 school year the Little Rock School District will be creating a Student Board that will meet once a month about issues and actions concerning the students in LRSD. They will have the opportunity to present to the School Board as well.

We are looking for seventh - twelfth grade students who are interested in representing their school and serving on the board. The board would meet once a month for about an hour with an optional opportunity to attend the School Board meeting once a month as well.

This article talks about the importance of students serving on School Boards; what we are forming is slightly different, but with hopefully the same positive intent and impact.
